Neave Group Outdoor Solutions is seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Construction Project Manager to join our award-winning team, based in Hudson Valley, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple commercial and residential construction projects simultaneously.


This is a year-round position, based out of our main office in Wappingers Falls, NY, with projects throughout Westchester and the Hudson Valley area. 


Who you are:  As the Construction Project Manager, you are thoroughly familiar with all aspects of earthwork, masonry and carpentry construction; you are self-motivated, organized, detailed and able to manage your time and responsibilities efficiently with little direction.

What you'll do as the Construction Project Manager:

  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate $2.5M+ of installation work
  • Interact with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and staff
  • Recruit, train, coordinate and manage crews
  • Work with site supervisors; monitor and coordinate work flow and deliveries on job sites
  • Read blueprints and construction drawings to lay out job sites
  • Manage and track man-hours from budget
  • Plan material ordering and utilize Purchase Order system
  • Utilize software programs (Excel, Basecamp, Asset from Include software)
  • Record client communication and data in customer relationship management system (Hubspot)
  • Work in outdoor weather conditions, including but not limited to, sun, heat, rain, snow, extreme cold
  • Additional tasks as assigned


What's required of the Construction Project Manager:

  • 2+ years of experience managing construction installation projects; or 4+ years of progressive industry related experience
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of earthwork, masonry and carpentry construction
  • Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Landscape Development, preferred
  • Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) and/or Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) preferred
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with clients, sub-contractors, property managers, and vendors of all kinds
  • Experience operating excavators, skid-steers, loaders, etc.
  • General computer program knowledge, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn industry-specific software program quickly
  • Ability to walk/bend/stand for 8+ hours/day and lift/carry items up to 100lbs without limitation
  • Valid Driver’s License
