Neave Group Outdoor Solutions, one of the fastest growing landscape and outdoor solutions firms in Hudson Valley, NY, is seeking an experienced Mechanic for our growing team. As the Mechanic, you will be responsible for the overall service, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of landscaping machinery and equipment throughout Dutchess and Westchester Counties.


This is a 2nd shift position, typically Mon.-Fri. from 12:00pm-7:00pm.


Pay: Starting at $16/hour. Greater experience and/or CDL drivers have the potential to earn more.

What you’ll do as the Mechanic:

  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all types of landscaping equipment, including mowers, leaf blowers, weed whackers, etc.
  • Examine vehicles and small gasoline and diesel engines to determine extent of damage or malfunctions
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles and heavy machinery, including skid steers, excavators, and trailers
  • Operate power tools and use a wide variety of maintenance hand tools and meters
  • Travel to various worksites throughout Westchester and Dutchess County as needed
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned


What’s required of the Mechanic:

  • At least 2 years of mechanical experience with gasoline and diesel engines
  • Valid driver’s license
  • **Must provide your own tools 

What will set you apart!

  • Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing landscaping equipment and machinery
  • CDL driver’s license
  • ASE Class “B” mechanic certification
